The Body Shop
The Body Shop are apart of a global cosmetics group committed to cruelty-free beauty and ethical business. They’re working hand in hand to make beauty a force for good. When doing the packaging design for The Body Shop it was important to ensure the end result aligns with their ethical values as well as fits within their brand vision.
The task at hand was to re-design the current Voyage fragrance gift range at The Body Shop to create premium gift packaging to be launched Christmas 2014. The new packaging design needed to stand out on the shelves and compliment the existing bottles while looking fresh and modern. When working with busy bottles I chose to go down a simplified route which complemented the bottle design rather than competing with it.
The full range included large feature gift boxes, pamper boxes, round gift boxes, treat tins, small gift sets, bon bon stocking fillers and small trio gift sets.

The Voyage gift range was dropping in sales and needed a re-design to push it into the high end market. By simplifying the packaging, choosing premium stock with a luxury silver foil, this product was given a new life. Packaging design is so important in setting your price point, your product can be excellent but if the packaging falls short your sales can drop dramatically.
